We had a great 4th, we got to see our family in Dallas, the kids got spoiled their by aunts, uncles and grandma with all the attention, we went to visit our old neighborhood and reconneted with our "old life" it was fun to see everyone, they were glad to see us, our old house is just "our old house" it's not like there was saddness or longing, just where we used to live, made wonderful memories, made best friends for life, our life is somewhere else now, it's fun to go back, but it's also nice to come back to our new home, I learned that while the big city is so crowded and busy, how did we ever drive in all this? we sounded old and grouchy, Jim said he sure appreciated his 5 minute commute down a simple little road to work now, I never say never as far as "I would never live there again" because I have learned to not say that, period. you never know where life will take you, you have to be ready for what comes up!
I am starting a new ladies bible study tonight, I am so excited about it, giddy actually, I haven't done one in awhile, I knew when it came up that I would do it, I need something bigger than myself, and I think I will find it in this study, I will tell you more about it next time, have a great day, keep cool, say your prayers, be thankful!!! Hi there, Loved seeing all the family from your get together. I too understand going back and seeing a home that was our nest-I miss the people but not much else and I often remark that I wouldn't want to live there anymore.
What a blessing that you still have your grandma-she looks great.
