Yawn, yawn...

I am indeed one tired gal today, woke up tired, if that makes sense?? I only have 2 of the 3 kiddos that I keep today so I took them to story time at the library and we really had a good time, we learned about BUGS!! :) it's nice to take them out every now and then. I think my tiredness is due to my MS because I am also having some numbness in my feet, which reminds me I need to take my shot, not too much exciting going on in our household so I'll close before I have you guys yawning too!!

Weekend stuff...

Here are a few things I picked up for myself this weekend

and I am soooo excited, especially about the Ipod, I think I'm the only

one on earth without one. The cute reading glasses are from the Target

$$ spot, one pair is black w/white dots, the other pink w/white stripes!!

Hannah got this scarf at the neighbors garage sale and paired it up with my new glasses, what a ham! she wore this stinkin scarf the entire weekend! Okay, the kids are "petting bees", our neighbor Paul is very into nature and he taught the kids that you can pet bees if you are very gentle and they won't sting you, so I watched for myself and no one got stung!

Had a nice weekend, on Friday night went to a mexican restauraunt for dinner, on Saturday we did the yard work, ran some errands, and Jim cooked a wonderful meal that night, he did some barbque chicken on the grill, fried taters, corn on the cob, fresh squash, it was sooo good, he is an excellent cook, he likes to cook on the weekends, during the week it's my job because he doesn't get home until dinner, so it's nice to just sit back and wait until he rings the dinner bell! :) went to church on Sun. came home relaxed, read the paper, and just hung out together!!

what dreary weather...

I know it's the stormy time of year but it's getting old, it's a real mess outside! Oh well I can't control mother nature so I might as well get on with it :) not too much going on here to report this week has flown by, we are gearing up for some spring cleaning this weekend, lots of yard work, and I am really looking forward to it, I've pretty much done the inside, so it's just the yard that needs attention, always feels good to "spruce" things up.

I was making dinner last night and had some extra chopped chicken and since I had boiled the chicken I also had broth so I whipped together some chicken and rice soup to have for lunch this week and it was sooooo yummy, I almost wanted to eat it for dinner instead of the casserole!! so I am looking forward to lunch today!

I treated myself to an eyebrow hot wax last night, I usually do it myself but I wanted it professionally done and I am so excited, they did a good job, and when I got up this morning I was like oh yeah, I have new eyebrows! (doesn't take much for me does it)???
Well, better go and refresh my cup of coffee and get on with my day, have a good one!

An Enchanted weekend...

Hannah and I finally saw Enchanted, it's still playing at the dollar theatre so we had some girly time on Sat. afternoon, what a good movie, we will definently buy that one. Cameron had already said that he did not want to see it!! (he's too manly for that!!) It was kind of a quiet weekend, not too busy, which is nice since last week was off track for us, I was so tired yesterday that we didn't even go to church just slept in, and stayed in jammies waaay to long, in fact Hannah wore her gown all day when she bathed last night she just changed into another one!! I took a nap, baked some more snickerdoodles, cooked some beef stew in the crockpot, read, gave myself a pedicure and a manicure, it was nice to do those things.

Let's see what else... it's a nice day today, sun is shining, Hannah has gymnastics tonight, she lives for Mon. nights that girl loves to jump, flip, tumble... she just never stops, wish I had that energy, speaking of, I am forcing myself to go to the gym 3 times this week, I am paying for it, I might as well use it!! talk to ya later!

Things I really enjoy!

1) Baking, I am really "into" it these days, my kids love to get in on the action and my husband loves to sample the goods!

2) Recycling, "Go Green" I always make sure our recycle bin is filled, I will dig cans out of the trash and move them to the bin if my family throws them there, I am obsessed with it!! did you know... that last year America recycled enough aluminum cans to stretch to the moon and back 8 times, how cool is that! and I looking for more ways to do my part!!

3) Taking pictures, need to capture those moments!

4) Reading blogs, love to see what's going on with everyone.

5) Watching movies, I love movies and I really enjoy watching kids movies, I love love love Disney movies, I find that when you have kids you get back into enjoying the fun adventures of their movies.

6) Reading, I am such a bookworm it's not even funny, and this isn't so funny, but I am having to wear reading glasses these days, what's with that??? hehe!!

Those are just a few things, I find that by really pointing out these things makes me happy, and that reminds me I am going to make some more of those snickernoodles I made last week, they were a real hit and we want more, yum yum!

I'm still here...

it's been a strange week for us, my sweet Uncle Jerry passed away on Fri. so my family and I headed to East Texas on Mon. for the funeral and came back Tues. night, so we're trying to get back on track. So, what do you think of my new blog??? I am so proud of it, thank you trendymommydesigns you are awesome, I have a link on my blog, you need to check them out!! well, I don't have alot to say right now, my mind is kinda blank this morning, but I'm sure I'll have more to come tomorrow!!
