{Stopping and Smelling the Roses}

Look what is making my yard look so pretty, these were here when we moved in so I cannot take credit for their beauty, we moved in our home in July and they were kinda dry and wilty, so seeing them bloom this spring has been a real treat.  I am taking notes on taking care of rose bushes now though, I want to make sure we trim them the correct way and the right food to give them.  Yesterday was Hannah's teachers birthday, it was so nice to pick a rose from our own yard to give her, it's the little things.

{A little Easter Peak}

I wanted to share with you some touches of Easter around our house,  I just love to decorate for all the holidays, I think it just makes life so much fun.

 My mantle, my mother made the egg garland, sooo cute huh!  this is just so happy and Springy to me.

 I just love this little bunny nestled in the flowers

 I got this bunny at TJ Max last year, and I did the "HOP" with things I already had, frames, scrapbook paper and letters, I like this little arrangement

My mother did this wreath, when she brought is to me the other day I was so excited when I saw it, she did such a good job, and I think it makes the door quite happy also, ha!

{News and Spring Break}

I am so happy to announce that I am a...

I am so excited about this!  I had been thinking about doing this for awhile and at the urging of my husband I finally signed up.  I have always loved and believed in this product and felt very strongly about being a part of this wonderful company, I got my kit in last week and have just loved going through it looking at all my goodies, I have been printing my business cards, setting up my website which is www.stacyloggins.scentsy.us, tagging my books and planning my first open house which will be at my house, and I can't wait!

We are on spring break around here, kids have enjoyed spending time with their friends and going to some fun places.  The weather has been pretty darn warm and humid,  I can do without the humidity because my thick hair expands, ha! not good. 

I have been off the creative bandwagon this week, needed a break, but the wheels are still turning and I am making notes on what to do next.  I kept my sisters kids on Monday and we did some fun crafts from Pinterest, we did the pipe cleaner crafts that turn to crystal when soaked in Borax and hot water, turned out great, they were amazed! and we did the balloon with paste and yard, they didn't go as well, just messy, oh well, we had fun!

{Weekend Time Line Style}

Our weekend in a nutshell...

Friday night- my mother and I went to a women's function at church,  Hannah had a friend spend the night

Saturday- on a whim took Hannah and friend to a matinee to see Journey 2, she has been begging to see this, so we did, and we really liked it, we will surely purchase this movie.  Took Cameron to Jim's store to help clean and do some odd jobs to help his daddy out.  While in movie Jim texts me to say we are having a friend and his son over for dinner, and Cameron has a friend coming too.  Jim already had some steaks marinating, we just added a few more to the mix.  After movie I need to pick up house for said guests, decided to do baked potatoes, green beans and for dessert my Hannah made an Oreo goody, and it was fantastic, everyone was raving!!  I set the dining room table up for our guest, I love an excuse to eat in there, dinner was really good, and the conversation was fun!! We need to have these little impromtu dinner parties more often!!

Sunday- went to church, had spagetti for lunch, Hannah and I then went to visit my mamaw for awhile, then Jim calls to say that the brakes they gave him the other day are wrong size, his truck is torn apart, he is greasy and  needs me to go get the right ones, great... so home I go, Cameron and friend  hop in car and off we go to get correct parts, and for all my trouble I felt a Sonic happy hour run was needed, back home, truck gets finished, and we all just had a low key Sunday evening, THE END!!
