Treat

I wanted to share this cute little diddy I did for the kids classmates on Halloween. I made rice crispy treats and added some candy corn and mini choc. chips, I used some clear treat bags and some with spiderwebs, for the circles I used my large round scrapbooking circle cutter, and with my rubber stamps I put a spider on the spiderweb bag and a pumpkin on the clear, put the treat in, fold, and attach the circle with glue, and wala! a cute treat, and I got many compliments from other parents and teachers!!!

Just dropping by...

with a Friday hi!!! Well, I can't believe the week is already over, it went fast to me, it looks like it's going to be a pretty weekend, lots of sunshine, just perfect for Mother's Day. I am going to a Mother's Day garden party at the school today for Cameron's class, we are going to plant some flowers and they have some "surprises" for us, so I am so excited about going! I finished the cans yesterday and made my butter mints, what I did was put the mints in a bag and tuck them in the can and then put a piece of tissue paper on top with a votive candle, and wala, a cute gift! glad all that's done, now I can chill out for the weekend, well, I better go, talk later!!

P.S. here are the finished cans, and the banana bread they took on Wed. aren't the loaves just so cute!!! :)

Teacher Appreciation gift idea

I wanted to share this craft with you for TAW, I'm sure you have seen or made these before, but just in case here's what you do, I used a veggie can or have used soup cans, clean, dry real good, and I just bought some cute scrapbook paper, what I used on this one has the alphabet on it and then I coordinated with the diamond pattern, you just cute your paper to size and I used spray adhesive to apply it, let dry. I then just tied a ribbon around it and then I took some twine for the handle and that's it! I plan to make some butter mints to put in them, I have a few more to make but just wanted to show you one now so if want to make one over the weekend here it is!!! Happy crafting
