What a sweet movie...

no pun intended! haha!! we had already seen it when it first came out and I had it on our BB online and it came this week so we all watched it last night, I had forgotten how cute it was! as I have said before I just love watching kid movies, at least the good ones, hehe! we actually got some rain yesterday evening, and did we ever need it, it was actually a very cozy night because there was no sun beating in, it made me want to bake something! but I didn't, too lazy :) But I will bake a goody sometime this weekend, I'm thinking of something new, I have been eyeing a couple of recipes from another blog and they look mighty tasty! I have to go grocery shopping later on, and it's will be one of those big trips, my kids are like we don't have anything good to eat, them being home in the summer sure makes the grocery bill go waaaay up, all they want to do it eat! I need to run now! Stay cool, it's HOT!

This is how I feel right now, lots going on! too many balls in the air. Now that our vacation is over we are back to working on getting the house ready to sell, last night we were making our list on what needs to be tackled next. I also have a to do list that is crazy busy, and I will start marking things off today as I will not procrastinate, not me, I will accomplish by darn!! It's dangerously hot these days, triple digits mind you! I am actually ready for fall, I love the fall feeling, what I really want is some rain! which reminds me, Jim told Cameron to make sure he turns the sprinklers on when he gets up and the little bum is still sleeping, so I may need to do it myself, which I really shouldn't because last night Jim had a little talk with him about helping out more around here, he can have all the summer fun he wants he just needs to actually "lift a finger" every now and then!! haha! Well, I better get, I need to refresh my coffee, have a great day everyone! S

Six Flags

We went to 6 Flags yesterday and had alot of fun but... it was 103 degrees and it was like burning alive all day, seriously, everyone there was just drenched in sweat, we took soooo many cool off breaks, you had too, we stayed plenty hydrated with drinks, snowcones! we rode alot of rides, the first ride I got on with Cameron was an upside down ride and I didn't realize it, I closed my eyes during most of it! Hannah is tall enough to ride most things and she did, no fear at all! Jim rode a few by himself because none of us were brave enough! We got there at 10 and left at 4, we just couldn't do it anymore, we were exhausted! We are just hanging here today, doing some housework and we leave for Texarkana tomorrow morning to see my family, we won't be back until Sunday, so I'll talk to you all next week! We are having fun this summer and the kids are always up to something, they are either on their bikes, scooters, 4-wheeler, some kind of "wheels". Have a good Friday and stay cool!

One of my favorite shows to watch is Jon & Kate Plus 8 on TLC, I'm sure most of you have seen this show, I LOVE it, last night after about the 4th episode in a row I finally turned the tv off and went to bed, I could watch them all day! It is so hot these days, miserably hot! I take my kiddos out early because it's too much for them in the afternoon, I plan on taking them for a stroll this morning, my 3rd one doesn't get here until 10 and I have a double stroller so it works out. Not too much exciting to report this week, just kinda doing the normal, I can't believe it's already Thurs. but that's okay I am on vacation next week! yeah! I need to download some pictures for you so I'll check back in later! S

Good morning out there! I am waiting for my coffee to brew and enjoying a few minutes of "me time" before the day begins. Cameron is going to the waterpark with a friend at 10:30, and Hannah goes to the movies with her friend at 9:30, the theatre up the street has a free summer movie every week and it starts at 10:00 so she enjoys doing that. I had book club last night and I ALWAYS enjoy that, the book we are reading for our August discussion is "Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen, and I hear it is excellent so I have some yummy reading ahead! Well, I need to throw some clothes on and get ready for the kiddos, but I am way to comfy in my jammies! hehe! and my coffee is ready! have a good day! S
